Made entirely from recycled, post-consumer plastic bottles, the Desert Cushion is perfect for outdoor living. This slim cushion is extremely durable and offers a texture reminiscent of virgin wool. It fits comfortably in the backrest of the Desert Chair but can be used on its own just as well. Using specialized technologies, the Desert series introduces a sustainable textile line made entirely from used plastic bottles. Each Desert Cushion - both the cover and the filling - consists of 48 bottles. This process gives you extremely durable designs while helping to clean the oceans. Plastic rugs, cushions and mats may not initially sound like textiles that feel soft, but with the Desert series you will no longer crave virgin wool. These textiles are not only practical, easy to clean and suitable for outdoor use, but they also feel just as pleasant to the touch as other designs.
